FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FAQS

“VTS 2030” refers to a standardized rack system. This modular test-system concept combines a base rack with different variants and optional expansion using an integrated PC, measurement and control technology, test adapters and software tools, allowing it to be adapted to the product, test scope and production environment.
The VTS 2030 rack system provides the standardized technical basis for this space-saving test station. It supports measurement, stimulation and contacting processes at four test stations, as well as automated self-tests, USB, audio, video and communication tests, and RF calibration.
The FCT system performs voltage, current, frequency and FFT analyses as well as measuring timing components such as switch-on time, signal delay or response time on the PCB. It also provides data acquisition, statistical evaluations and complete quality documentation.
The VTS 2030 supports a wide range of industrial interfaces through modern adapters, including CAN, LIN, USB, PLC connections, serial and LAN-based communication, and digital functions such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.
Infotainment units often process multiple high-frequency signal paths, for example for tuners, GPS or other receivers. RF connectors must therefore be contacted precisely and reproducibly so that contact errors, attenuation or unstable signal paths do not distort measurements. RF-shielded adapters, highly complex contacting and universal multiplexing prevent these distortions.
