Last week, the MCD team – comprising Anastasiya Yavorska and Markus Ams – attended the “Automated Testing XPO” organised by our partner ATX Automation and can look back on what was an all-round successful event.
With numerous specialist exhibitors, the event impressively demonstrated just how diverse modern test solutions are today – from intelligent contacting and automated test processes to measurement technology and quality assurance. The opportunity to engage in face-to-face discussions with customers, partners and industry colleagues was particularly valuable, as well as the many fascinating specialist presentations on the current challenges facing electronics manufacturing, set against the impressive backdrop of the Fürstenfeld Event Forum..
A particular highlight at the booth of partner company Pinplate Test Fixtures was the use of the MCD SmartModule. Thanks to its compact, modular architecture, it is ideally suited to development and validation tasks, as well as serving as an intelligent control and measurement platform within larger test systems. Thanks to interchangeable function modules and automatic module recognition, a wide variety of test tasks can be carried out quickly and flexibly. This was demonstrated at the Automated Testing XPO through the practical interplay of Pinplate adaptation, special contacting and MCD measurement technology.
