MCD TestSuite

MCD Comet – TestStand®integration for test systems

Development and execution of individual test applications

MCD Comet is a central component of the MCD TestSuite, connecting MCD hardware and software with the TestStand® sequencer. The software is designed for the development and execution of customized test and inspection applications, providing a powerful foundation for modern testing and automation solutions.

In addition to executing TestStand® sequences, MCD Comet offers predefined user interfaces for convenient operation of test systems. Custom user interfaces can also be created using individual graphical elements and tailored to specific requirements.

Thanks to its open architecture, functionality can be flexibly extended through C# scripts, external DLLs, and additional software components. MCD Toolmonitors can also be integrated to visualize, monitor, and efficiently control test sequences. This enables scalable test systems for development, validation, and series production.

Challenges and concept

MCD Comet combines individual operating concepts, existing TestStand® functions and different hardware within a central test environment. This allows test applications to be flexibly adapted to the respective test process and existing test processes to continue to be used.
