The successful acceptance of a recent project with MCD‘s customer MTU Solutions marks the completion of an exciting engineering project that MCD Elektronik had the privilege of supporting from the very beginning. As part of the project, MCD developed a custom breakout box for connecting the customer’s test system, as well as a dual adapter for environmental testing of power supply units. The adaptation manufactured in Birkenfeld ensures that currents, voltages and resistances are correctly simulated and measured in test specimens over several hours at temperatures ranging from -40 to +90 degrees Celsius, while maintaining a secure connection at all times.
On the MCD Elektronik side, the project was led by Yannick Rauscher and Reinhold Szegedi. Working together with the MTU team, they successfully met the requirements and brought the project to a successful conclusion. The trusting and collaborative partnership was a key factor in the project’s success.
