This week, we had the great pleasure of welcoming Marlon Koch, an intern who volunteered to gain insight into our world of measurement and testing technology \ud83c\udf9b\ufe0f.<\/p>\n

\n\ud83d\udd0d\u202fAreas explored:\u202fManufacturing and development<\/p>\n
First, Marlon got to know our company \ud83c\udfe2 and the processes at MCD \ud83d\udd01. Afterward, the 17-year-old received a crash course in electrical engineering \u26a1\ufe0f, during which he was able to build an electrical circuit with switches \ud83d\udd32 and lights \ud83d\udca1. Armed with this basic knowledge, he began his week-long project: building our weather station \ud83c\udf21\ufe0f and programming the accompanying software \ud83d\udcbb. Throughout all his activities, the student from the Heinrich-Wieland-Schule (technical high school) \ud83c\udfeb in Pforzheim shone with knowledge, interest, and motivation, and inspired our team led by our trainer Danny Merz \ud83d\udc4f.<\/p>\n
